Ram Tere Naam Par!The answer to an opinion should be another opinion!                       – Shashi Tharoor in ParliamentHai Ram Ke Vajud Pe Hindostan Ko Naaz, Ahl-e-Nazar Samajhte Hain Is Ko Imam-e-Hind.- Allama Iqbal(India is proud of the personality of Lord Ram,Knowledgeable believe him to be the guiding priest of India.)Violence instigating blind followers. These two opening quote and a couplet I think is enough to authenticate my point. The rising intolerance in the name of Lord Ram has not only maligned the image of India in the world but also of Lord Ram who is loved and adored by all irrespective of caste and religion...

RIP : Rita BhaduriNeither Rita Bhaduri is an household name nor I am a big fan of her but I still have some memories attached to her which I want to share after her death today in a Mumbai hospital. She was a character artist or a supporting actor in 70's , 80's and 90's and I am sure you also didn't know about any path breaking role of her which have impressed the audience. Yet she was an important personality of TV and film industry and her presence on screen used to feel by the audience. She reminded me of a weird unique show of 90's which aired on Zee TV. The show's name was 'Grihalakshmi Ka Jinn' where she played the protagonist 'Girahalakshmi' whom God send a Jihn to solve he...

Is Lynching India is 'New India' ?A new trend of mob lynching has emerged in many Indian states mostly ruled by Bhartiya Janata Party shaping Narendra Modi’s‘New India’. The idea of India is idea of togetherness, inclusiveness and acceptance but the new India works contrary. In this segregation, hate and intolerance hold the importance. Till now mobs were killing people in the name of cow in various places like in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Rajasthan, some trends of hate crimes also noticed when Muslims, Dalits, Tribals,North East Indians were attacked by group of people. Now the poor and down trodden are attacked by labeling them child lifters. The dangerous trend is that the online ...

Kashmir Issue and Ram MandirFrom last 30 years two issues are making headlines in Indian media: Kashmir problem and Ayodhya Ram Mandir. India is dealing with both the issues almost from independence and even before that because Babri Masjid issue was also in the list of concern of British India and ownership of Kashmir was always discussed with the last ruler of state Raja Hari Singh. Let’s not go much in the core and history of both the issues but one thing we can conclude from the developments of last 30 years is that both the issues are making mockery of Indian democracy arriving in the limelight on every onset of General elections or elections in the Hindi speaking belt. There are issue...

Naive Traveler : Manali TripManali is a hill station situated in Himachal Pradesh, India. Kullu an adjacent hill station is often called together with it as Kullu-Manali. Actually when you plan a trip to Manali spare one day for Kullu also which is famous for Paragliding and rafting. Manikaran another small hill town is associated with Manali which is famous for Manikaran Gurudwara and is visited for its hot springs in that area. By the way my most important aim to visit Manali is to see Rohtang Pass and believe me you need a complete one day to visit that place due to traffic on the way in spite of online permissions given by NGT (National Green Tribunal) to limit the vehicles visited that ...

4 Years of ModiNarendra Modi has completed 4 years in office. There are highs and lows in this period but the most significant changes I have observed has really give way to a New India. An India which is confused in its decision has no jobs neither has money to spend. Muslims and Christians are outsiders they don’t belong to this land and has no right of living here. If they have to stay in this land than they should live as Hindus wants them to live. Dalits has no chance to climb the ladder in any field in the society. There rise is seen as disgrace to upper caste people. Economy (Modinomics) is what BJP and the government ministers told and you don’t have any right...

Karnataka ElectionsLooking from the north Karnataka elections are becoming status question for both Congress and the BJP. On one hand Congress is fully active in protecting its biggest state rule in country while the BJP is trying to make its base stronger in the south. Few things I have observed in this election process and I don’t know how this going to affect the outcome of the result:    BJP is not ashamed of playing its communal card which is visible in its targeting Muslims as well as pitching for unified Hindutva by opposing Lingayat community status as a separate religion and bringing campaigners like Yogi Adityanath who is playing the propaganda perfectly.Congress h...

Death of An Eight Year Old GirlAn eight year old girl was kidnapped, sedated for hours and kept in a pious religious place meant for the main worship. She was raped repeatedly by six men in that state for days. Six men includes a person specially called to ‘satisfy his lust’ from outstation. She was held captive for about a week in January this year after which she was strangled and then hit with a large stone twice to make sure that she was dead. Don’t get angry in disgust before reading the final detail that one man raped her again when she was dead. Isn’t the incident horrifying and disgusting without knowing about the details of the victim and the accused? Don’t you think ...

Ye Jo Public Hai Sab Janti Hai - Blog to PMI will start from the beginning when our Prime Minister started saying that he will make India Great Again. For me and many who think like me India is and was great from the time we know it and that greatness not depends on any party’s or person’s way of leading the country. From the last four years I have seen some prominent changes in your stands as well as motives of your party on important national issues which are responsible for bringing you to the power namely corruption, development and growth of every sector of the society (Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas). BJP only become a washing machine in these 4 years to wash away the sin of the corrupt b...

Protect Privacy! The breach of user data by Facebook appears a mere pass out news but if you think about it you can shock yourselves with revelations. You spend your time on Facebook posting things related to you and your lifestyle, your thinking, your ideology and sometimes it also denotes your financial status and position in society. Reactions on your post can be judged as people influenced by you and now think if these things are used by strategists/ analysis firms to create a strategy to manipulate or influence you without your knowledge. Is this shocking? If not than think about the apps you connect through Facebook, in some of them you have used your bank details, personal identi...

Ruined State - SyriaIndifference of the world communities, the power hungry government, Shia-Sunni rivals and international Islamophobic population has ruined an entire nation. The peaceful demonstration which started almost seven years ago against President Bashar-Al-Assad of Syria for criticizing high unemployment, corruption and lack of political freedom turned into a fully fledged civil war with the intervention of foreign nations which resulted in mass killing of innocent civilians including children. The Russian government is supporting President Assad and bombarding the rebel areas since 2015. Their attacks they say are targeted towards armed rebel but destroying civilian colonie...

Hawahawai - RIP SrideviI am in a deep shock after hearing Sridevi’s untimely death news. It’s a sad moment, the one you wish to believe is not true and that’s what I did when first heard the news of her death. I checked with the news portals to confirm the news and then I realize we have lost a legend. I usually write tribute for celebrities who passed away but I am finding it difficult to write about the one who was among my childhood favorites as I am disheartened with the loss. We who spend our childhood in 90’s know about the craze for her in those days and how much we loved her. She is among the most popular female actor of that era the one who is regarded as first female supers...

Welcome to NEW INDIANew India Flag Without Green Color New India has new traits and we welcome you to this. The country still stretches from Kashmir to Kanyakumari from north to south and from Arunanchal Pradesh to Gujarat from east to west but I advise you to avoid going to Kashmir as we don’t know when situation go out of control and you find yourself between security personal and stone pelters tussle. As far as Arunanchal is concerned with China we can resolve the problem as we are doing in Doklam area. Bow to cows as you see them in any corner of the country eating waste plastic garbage or just roaming on busy roads. Na Khaunga Na Khane Dunga How easy is for the rich to fool institutions, governments and even regulatory authority while poor succumb to their pressure? Yes that’s the story of our country where'Sachai Ki Hamesha Jeet Hoti Hai' (Truth Always Wins) is reserved for the films only. Have you ever heard a rich billionaire committed suicide with his family for non-payment of his bank dues worth crores, no because they know the escape route and the escape agents who escort them to safe heavens for their entire life? The poor laborers and farmers in such circumstances has only one escape route i.e. to end their lives with family and safe themselves from the shame and humiliation for not able ...

Enemy of LoveAnkit Saxena Opposed to the marriage of their Muslim daughter to a Hindu boy 24 year old Ankit Saxena, girl’s family stabbed him to death in west Delhi's Raghubir Nagar. Girl’s mother, father, uncle and brother all involved in the killing were arrested. It is not a surprise that current socio-political environment tried to give this ‘honor killing’ or ‘shame killing’ murder a communal color by targeting the Muslim community. But the main focus here should be the need to concentrate on the constitution values which allows any adult male or female to marry his or her choice that was denied in this case by brutal murder of the boy. But such repeated incidents told ...

Bhima Koregaon Violence The event to mark 200th anniversary of the Bhima Koregaon battle in Pune district, in which forces of the East India Company defeated Peshwa's army, was marred by incidents of violence on 1st January 2018, with at least one person getting killed. Dalits commemorate the British victory, as it is believed that soldiers from the Mahar community then considered untouchable were part of the East India Company's forces. Since Peshwas were upper caste Brahmins this victory was considered by Dalits as lower caste’s victory over upper caste. However, some right-wing groups in Pune had expressed opposition to celebration of the `British' victory, this opposition soon turn...

Countdown 2018 #3Today is the last day of the year 2017 and after two series of countdown to 2018 we have almost covered events of half of the year. Now lets talk about rest of the year. This year also saw the implementation of Goods & Services Tax (GST) in India which disturbed many small businesses resulted in nationwide agitation against the bill. Government has given some relief to them with some changes in it but the bill still not profitable for the country as revenue generation has decreased. Bengal witnessed communal riots in Basirhat area and also the Darjeeling agitation. Both the events took months to come back to normalcy. Iraq said to be liberated by ISIS and Nitish Kumar ag...

My List : Top 10 Hindi Film Songs of 2017Music wise this year was not so fantastic. Yes there were good Music, good singing or good lyrics but only few impresses when they form a complete song. Being a movies and music lover I keep an eye on the things going on in these fields and I found that most film makers are more concerned with foot tapping club songs to attract the youth rather than soulful melodies which become hum-able & evergreen. Here are Top 10 songs of the year 2017 according to me without any order since all are beautiful to me. Feel free to add your choice or criticize my choice.1. Sonia Gandhi - A Woman of SubstanceThe lady who was unknown to the masses till 1997-1998 become so popular among the people that she led her party to two consecutive historic win in the country many people believed not belonged to her. I am talking about Sonia Gandhi the outgoing president of Indian National Congress. She has left her post for elevation of her son Rahul Gandhi as the Congress party president. Her timing to enter politics collides with the time I started following politics. It was the time Indian politics was in turmoil as the country has faced three general elections in a period of four years. Her own party which she refused to join after the death of her husband in 1991 was...
